Diary of a Foodie on a Diet…
I recently started the Dukan Diet, recently being three weeks ago, and have had success!! I love jumping into something that makes you feel so great about yourself and everything else in your life. It motivated me to work out and gave me so much extra ‘get-up-and-go’. However, this doesn’t mean that the demon foods of yonder haven’t been haunting me to return to my previous eating habits. There are a lot of great diet foods that have been helping me through though.
1. Skinny Cow anything- reduced calorie ice cream and chocolate?? What more could you want?
2. Baked Lays or Doritos or Cheetos- There really is nothing to substitute that salty munchy craving you just sometimes can’t satisfy with almonds or walnuts. Here come the baked chips to save the day. You can have a satisfying portion for only 150 calories!
3. Einstein’s Bagels Thintastic Breakfast Sandwiches- These things are a life saver. When everyone else is eating their Starbucks treats or McDonald Egg McMuffins and all you want is some breakfast this is the thing to get. They are all under 350 calories and a perfect way to start your day.
